Updated: 15th December 2025

1. Scope of Services

Buzz Business Boosters (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides digital marketing, business mentoring, website design and development, SEO, copywriting, branding, strategy, and related consulting services.

All services will be defined in a written quote, proposal, Growth Package outline, or agreed project brief (“Scope of Services”) provided prior to commencement. Any work outside the agreed scope requires additional approval and may incur additional fees.

2. Client Responsibilities

You (“the client”) agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and timely information required to deliver services

  • Respond to communications, approvals and requests within reasonable timeframes

  • Review and approve work promptly to avoid delays

  • Ensure all materials supplied (logos, images, text, credentials) are owned by you or appropriately licensed

  • Maintain access to relevant platforms, including websites, hosting, social media and Google accounts

Buzz Business Boosters is not responsible for delays, errors or additional costs resulting from incomplete information, delayed responses or restricted access.

3. Quotes, Proposals & Acceptance

Quotes and proposals are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

Acceptance may occur via email confirmation, written message, invoice payment or commencement of services. Acceptance confirms agreement to the Scope of Services and these Terms & Conditions.

4. Payment Structure & Retainers

4.1 Prepaid Retainer (Ongoing Services)

Buzz Business Boosters operates primarily on a prepaid retainer model for ongoing services, including Growth Packages, SEO, consulting, marketing support and advisory work.

  • An initial $500 + GST prepaid retainer is required before work commences unless otherwise agreed

  • Work is deducted from the available retainer balance as services are delivered

  • When the retainer balance reaches $150 + GST, a top-up invoice for $500 + GST is issued

  • Work pauses automatically if the retainer is exhausted and resumes once funds are received

Retainers are non-refundable but may be applied across agreed services. Retainer balances do not expire while the client relationship remains active.

4.2 Fixed Projects & One-Off Work

For fixed-scope projects (including packages, website builds, branding and one-off strategy work):

  • A 50% deposit is required before work commences

  • The remaining 50% is due upon completion or as outlined in the agreed project schedule

  • Final deliverables may be withheld until payment is received in full

4.3 Growth Packages

Growth Packages are structured service bundles delivered over an agreed period and may include strategy, website optimisation, SEO, content creation, systems setup, mentoring and implementation support.

Growth Packages:

  • Are prepaid

  • Include defined inclusions and usage limits

  • Do not roll over unless explicitly agreed in writing

  • Require timely client participation, approvals and access

Unused inclusions resulting from client delays, lack of engagement or missed approvals are not refundable.

5. Payment Methods & GST

We accept payment via bank transfer and online invoice payment links. Card payments incur 2.9% merchant fee.

Afterpay may be offered as payment options once approval and integration are finalised. Availability is subject to third-party provider approval and may not apply to all services or invoices.

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

6. Invoicing & Late Payments

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue

  • Late payments may incur a $15 administration fee plus 2.5% monthly interest on the outstanding balance

If payment remains overdue for more than 14 days, Buzz Business Boosters reserves the right to:

  • Pause or suspend services

  • Withhold deliverables or access to materials

  • Refer the account to debt recovery

  • Recover reasonable legal and collection costs where permitted by law

All intellectual property remains the property of Buzz Business Boosters until payment is received in full.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

If the client cancels services after work has commenced:

  • The client is liable for all work completed to date

  • Deposits and retainers are non-refundable

  • Any outstanding balances become immediately payable

If Buzz Business Boosters is unable to continue services due to unforeseen circumstances, any unused prepaid amounts will be refunded.

8. Revisions & Approvals

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Up to two rounds of revisions are included per deliverable

  • Additional revisions or scope changes will be billed at the applicable hourly rate

The client is responsible for final review, proofreading and approval prior to publishing, printing or deployment.

9. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment:

  • Ownership of custom deliverables created specifically for the client (copy, designs, strategy documents) transfers to the client

Buzz Business Boosters retains ownership of:

  • Tools, templates, frameworks, methodologies and systems

  • Processes developed during the engagement

  • Any pre-existing intellectual property

Buzz Business Boosters may display completed work in portfolios, case studies or promotional materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Losses arising from external systems or services

  • Delays caused by client actions or inaction

Our total liability is limited to the total fees paid for the services provided.

12. Dispute Resolution
